July Scrap Soup - Paper Issues

Hi lovelies!

Today Mary-Ann has a new yummy reciep of a lovely Scrap Soup for us over at Paper Issues.

Here's my take on it, using a combo of  Maggie Holmes Chasing Dreams and Pinkfresh Studio Live more collections.

I acctually followed the recipe pretty much as it is this time, didn't add some extras :)

July New Issue Monday - Paper Issues

Hi sweet Friends!

Happy Monday everyone and today it's a very happy monday as Lisa is sharing the July version of New Issue Monday!

Heres Lisa's description..

Suggested ideas: use speech bubbles and/or phrase stickers, make a page about funny things kids say, 4th of July/patriotic, tacos and food in general, use the PI taco card.

I went for a combo of the speech bubbles and funny (cute) things kids say...

My speech bubbles are made by a FREE cut file from the Paper Issues store and I used the Pink Paislee Summer Lights collection.

My journaling says: My beloved Arvid. You often stops in the middle of your play and says: Mommy, I love you!

Here's my interpret using May Swag Bag.

I used a photo from our daughters birthday party when she turned six .

She loves cats and she always, almost, wear those cat-ears so this Swag Bag worked perfect for this moment. Both party and cats, win win!!

I did some fussy cuting of a PL-card for my "LOVE" title.

CRITERIA - Use PEN on your work

Here's my take...

 I was inspired by the colors and of course the use of pen . I wrote lines around some of my paper squares and I wrote the journaling with a pen. And the photo is a documentary of how my sweet daughter used some color pens on her hands to cheer on our bandy- team when they played the final of the Swedish Championships this past winter.
