Scrap Lift Sunday - Paper Issues

Hello Friends!

It's time for one of my favorite challenges, Scrap Lift Sunday, over at Paper Issues.

Today we are lifting this lovely layout created by Lisa Swift.

Once again I have pushed myself out of my comfort zone while lifting Lisas beautifully embellieshed page.

I have used patterned paper instead of white cardstock as my background and pushed myself to use more embellies than I usually do.

It's really fun and inspiring to lift another scrappers style but still do it in your own way...

Here's my page using some Maggie Holmes Chasing Dreams and One canoe Two Hazelwood....

To "soften" up my bakground paper a little bit I added some mint colored acrylic paint.

I also used some text stickers from the Pinkfresh Studio Live More collection.

CASology - LOUD

Hi!

Just a quick hello to share my card for this week's cue card over at CASology.

The word is LOUD and I made a super clean but bold interpret.

I used some lovely dies from kaBoks with big LOUD letters saying Hip Hip Hurray in Swedish.

Have I ever mentioned my favorite color is green... :)

Here's my take using a few Free cut files from Papers Issues and gorgeous papers and embellies from Bella blvd Make Your Mark collection.

Love the touches of gold in this collection.

A photo of my dear hubby ar the Corona Del Mar beach in California.

I used some blue color mist for my background, just smooshed it with a small plastic bag.

I've used one of the cut files (the love-heart) from above for my page.

It's a tribute to one of my very best friends and her mum. Her mum were an hero and a great role model for her and for many of us. Unfortunately she passed away this past winter <3

Try It Tuesday - Paper Issues

Hi sweet friends!

Today Amanda introduce another new, fun and super inspiring challenge at Paper Issues, it's called Try It Tuesday.

This month we're playing with water. Use washable markers, gelatos or even stamp pads and ink and add water. Watch them react, tilt your page and watch the colors run!

I used my Distress Crayons and lots of water.

Note to self: remember to prepare your  background paper with some gesso ( I used some clear gesso)

Here's my take...

Papers from Crate Paper Cool Kid and Cute Girl collection, and Dear Lizzy Saturday collection. Puffy stickers from the Cool Kid line. I think they worked perfectly together :)

I've used a lovely die cut I've got from my dear friend Christel, thanks so much!

I made my background with Distress ink's on wet paper for watercolors.

The sentiment is from kaBoks and I love that it is in swedish, it says "Hugs to You".
